Day 20 Dark subject painting. First I want to state out that painting something dark takes longer time than painting something light. I’m not achieving saturation and darkness with watercolor mix intensity but with the amount of layers I apply to the painting. . Yes I do have slightly darker watercolor mixes but still layer is transparent so I can paint on and on. With saturated watercolor mixes you can get pretty fast flat looking painting and dull result. AND if you ever noticed a shine on you
