Aptly named, the quads encompass 4 muscles: the rectus femoris, the vastus lateralis, the vastus intermedius, and the vastus medialis. 👀 Start right above that kneecap and get in there with the thumbs to massage the tendon. (Note to Massage Therapists worried about Doc Mike’s thumbs–don’t be.) 🫢 Next, use some lotion and run the heel of the hand up the muscles. Alternate hands, and stop on any tight spots to work out the knot
