Jakob saw the movie Donnie and his wife Jenny McCarthy made, “Spellers,” a month before he became able to openly communicate by spelling words one letter at a time on a wireless keyboard and iPad. A few months later, Jakob spelled that he wanted to go to five New Kids concerts this summer. So we did. Then he said he wanted to go to one more. So we are.
