I finally was able to find monkfish liver!! Monk fish liver is known as the foie gras of the sea! Though it wasn’t fresh I was still stoked to get premade Ankimo- is the most common preperation to enjoy monkfish liver. Monkfish liver has a strong smell but a pleasant taste. The texture is soft and almost melts in your mouth like what you’d expect from liver.
