@wav.daddy conducted a very interesting experiment where he had a Sm57 aimed at the same spot, from different locations. I agree with him that you don’t hear much of a difference in the snare sound with each position change because the spot you are aiming at and how you play the drum could be making a bigger impact. And it does seem like the instrument bleed from other parts of the kit changes which is expected because of the angle change. What do you think? Do you hear a difference? Thanks to @
