On February 15, 1820, Susan B. Anthony was born in Adams, Massachusetts. She was an American social activist, abolitionist, and women's rights activist who was one of the most visible leaders for the women’s suffrage movement. That fight for suffrage eventually lead to the ratification of the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote on August 26, 1920, fourteen years after Susan’s death. Susan B.
