Looks like Triumph is out and about with a test unit of the Daytona. Nope, this isn't a new generation of the 765. In fact, it looks like the 660 and we have already seen and experienced motorcycles on this platform in the past. We can safely assume that it will have the same engine that we have seen on the Trident and the Tiger 660 but in a high performance tune.
