Part 1 of the East Harlem in 1940’s Time Machine when East Harlem was home to over 80,000 Italian Americans. By piecing together a treasure trove of tax photos between 105th Street ( A hun’ fifth) and 118th street ( A hun’ eighteenth) between 2nd Ave and Pleasant Ave, we were able to recreate the vibe from this long lost era in an attempt to revive it for your viewing pleasure.
