I made homemade chicken and dumplings from scratch this weekend and it was absolutely DELICIOUS. Below is the recipe I used if you want to try it! Chicken & Dumplings: - Sauté carrots, celery, onion, garlic, Gold potatoes, and mushrooms with a little olive oil in the bottom of your stock pot until tender. - Boil a whole chicken (save the stock!) and let cool. Shred all the meat then add to your stock pot. (If you are on a time crunch, purchase a whole rotisserie chicken to shred). - Add in chick

To sprout or chit potatoes: ✅ Place tubers on a container that allows good ventilation. You can reuse egg cartons and place one potato in each section making sure the eyes are side up. Summer potatoes, I was told they wouldn’t grow well in our hot summers, well, myth busted. Of the three planting methods I used, both the ‘no dig’ versions won out. The best result was probably the first, mounded bed with irrigation. However, my favourite is the raised bed, it was no dig, no irrigation - no work!
