Today is #endangeredspeciesday and we want to fly the flag for basking sharks! They are listed as endangered on the IUCN red list and recovering after wide spread hunting in the last century. We were so lucky to have this incredible encounter with a basking shark near the Isle of Mull whilst out on a Staffa Tours boat trip last month 🦈 This slow-moving migratory shark is the second largest fish, growing as long as 40 feet and weighing over 5 tons.
