Got it! Like a pesky fly that pushed its luck one too many times, the #pterosaur is no more thanks to the lucky snap from a stretching, nearly leaping, #Torvosaurus. It is the first large theropod display that I can recall where a big beast is eating a light snack. :-) Torvosaurus “Savage/Cruel/Wild Lizard” per the Galton and Jensen 1979 paper that named it, is huge! At over 30’ long and anywhere from 3-5 tons (depending on the methodology used), this animal was one of the largest predators to e
