Construction has begun on Dubai’s first aerial taxi vertiport, which the local government plans to launch in early 2026. According to the government, the first aerial taxi service will operate close to Dubai International Airport, with three stations planned for Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, and Palm Jumeirah. Taxis will launch vertically, hence the name “vertiport”, and will carry a maximum of four passengers. | ABC 7 Chicago
