Zoe had tried to clean under their piano the last time we were there, but using her dad’s iPhone for light wasn’t ideal. So she went with a plan this time. She not only brought her duster, but her headlamp as well. Switching to BILLY Footwear has made our lives so much easier because we no longer have to spend all evening the day she gets new AFOs dragging her from store to store looking for something, ANYTHING, that might work over them. And cost didn't even come into play then. If we found a shoe that would somewhat work, we would buy it. My daughter Zoe has Moebius syndrome which causes facial paralysis. She was born with it, so she’s never known anything different. Learning to eat with limited movement of her mouth has been a struggle, but drinking has been harder. As you see here, she can use a straw, but it’s hard, and it tends to choke her up, so she prefers an open cup. Sometimes, though, she wants to drink the way she sees others drink so she’ll try something new, and that’s what she’s doing here.

Our daughter loves going with us to the grocery store so much that I rarely do grocery pick-up orders these days. We go almost every week, and I wouldn’t think of going without her.
