2024年8月22日 · my daughter was sunny side up for delivery and it was awful. All back labor and she never dropped even tho I was fully dilated and effaced! Do research now and I'm honestly I'd ask them when I went into labor to make sure she wasn't sunny side up. Doing a c section for this baby bc of the trauma from that birth and its repeat c anyway.

No forceps/vacuum, had an epidural at the last minute so I didn’t benefit from it, but I didn’t tear and she was born in two hours from first contraction to birth. It was a little harder to push, but your body knows what to do. I do recommend not pushing on your back if you can avoid it.. you can push on your side.

2011年4月23日 · My baby was sunny side up. I had natural childbirth in a birthing center. I did have back labor, but it was manageable with good comfort measures. The midwives were able to reach in and turn baby during about three contractions when I was six centimeters dilated. That hurt, but then it all went a lot faster, so it was worth a few minutes of pain.
Anyone have experience delivering a sunny side up baby?
2023年12月20日 · My first was sunny side up but turned at the last possible minute. Pushed for 10 minutes. My second was also sunny side up and she was born that way. I pushed for 13 minutes and only had a first degree tear. She had some bruising on her forehead but that was it! Back labor was excruciating though 😅 the epidurals were my best friend.
