2009年8月16日 · The Stetsbar works great but on any LP type guitar with the big back and sideways break angles of the string through the nut, getting the nut just right for stable trem use is a tricky bear if you are picky about tuning (be it a Stetsbar, Bigsby or Les Trem). I had one on an LP that I removed & resold when I traded off the LP.

Main -ve for me is restringing - can take 15-20 mins & takes practice to perfect. The Stetsbar has some +ves and -ves. Good - easy to install no holes drilled or damage to guitar

2021年7月3日 · As for function- It is smooth to bend notes, and stays in tune. It is rather stiff compared to a floating tremolo, as there is a piece of steel the width of the tremolo that you have to bend vs floating on two knife edge points. The action is a bit high as I don't want to shim the neck, but it's not unreasonable.

To those who don't know, a stetsbar is a non-invasive tremolo system to convert hardtail bridges to floating. It apparenty has advantages over traditional systems in tuning and stability and tremolo arm placement.

2013年8月1日 · another option to consider is the Stetsbar. If you're gonna replace the bridge the Stetsbar provides great tremolo & high quality bridge on 1 easy to install unit. No holes to drill - sits on top & 2 bolts screw direct into your old bridge holes. I have bigsby's too and like em but the Stetsbar is a much better trem system imo.

2023年12月26日 · The warhawk was good too, but suffered the blandness you speak of. In around 2013 i got a Reverend Gil Parris that Reverend had completely modified with a flame top and a stetsbar tremolo, it was sick, but like you say, suffered that blandness. Sold all of them (kept the amp of course). i think the blandness comes from the korina personally.
