Buffy and Spike for me. Buffy originally aired when I was between 7 and 13 years old, and when I was that age I LOVED witch related stuff and anything vampire related would have been a huge pass. So I skipped over Buffy (obviously not realizing that witches were apart of the show) and watched "Charmed" instead, which I do not regret.

Spike was probably the most ‘developed’ of Buffy’s love interests so I can see why people have a soft spot….but he was unhealthy for Buffy and came at a horrible time. If you're going to rewatch with a focus on the spike/buffy relationship then I highly encourage you to read the comics afterwards (seasons 8-10, 11 and 1`2 are garbage). I don't want to spoil anything but the Spike/Buffy relationship really grows during the post tv show seasons.
