2011年2月26日 · Been using rice bran for the last several years and the deer around here love it. Last year I paid $5.50 for a 40 lb bag. I just use it during the season as a attraction not to feed deer. If your a trying to feed deer all year around corn might be the best option because it can be used in a feeder.

2010年8月31日 · yep , mostly rice bran. Make sure it is fresh. Raw rice bran goes bad after a few months then they dont like it as much.Raw rice bran is what the feed stores sell in 40 or 50lb bags. I had deer stand in line 10 deep in Coleman Co. Texas to eat it the first time I put some out about 2 years ago. I always put out small piles 3-5 lbs at a time.

2012年9月24日 · I have never had deer come to this stuff. I have tried it all. Peanut butter, persimmon, apple, plain rice bran. All I hear is my buddies talk about how great there deer are killing the stuff. I put it out with corn in my bunk feeders. Put corn on one side and rice bran on the other end of feeder. They won't touch the rice bran.

2020年12月4日 · On-time makes the best one Ive found. I have two and wish I had 10. You can put 50lbs in it at a time. The plate on the bottom vibrates and the feed falls over the sides of the plate. You can adjust the bolts to throw different powders/pellets. I used them this summer for protein pellets and am currently using them for nut grub/rice bran.

Our deer are feed snobs. On our ranch if you run out of rice bran they will go to your buddies or neighbors if they have some. Deer will walk by and sample protein, corn, cotton seed, alfalfa, Chafhay - but they will stay on the ricebran until they are full or it's gone. I can put out 200 lbs of rice bran in tubs and it is gone in 3-4 days.

2018年4月30日 · Well after not having any coon pics when I loaded the feeder up with corn last year, as you can see I finally got a coon eating the rice bran It’s only been a week since I put out feed but already have deer showing up. And all the rice bran was gone from the feeder but I only put maybe 5 lbs in it, just to test it out to see how it would work.
