Recently deleted in Files app won’t permanently delete from iPad ...
2020年3月14日 · BUT the moment I refresh, go away and return to the “recently deleted”, even after restarting my iPad Pro ios13 latest, then all the “deleted files” reappear in the “recently deleted” section of the files app. In short, I just can’t permanently delete these 177 files out of the Files app. I even tried one by one, but still no luck.

2022年6月15日 · Yesterday Recently deleted folder on the Iphone was empty. But Iphone was totally out of space, so I had to delete some more photos and empty the Recently deleted folder. Now Recently deleted folder on the Iphone contains the same photos as on all the other devices and on icloud.com.

2004年1月11日 · What I ended up doing was "restoring" my deleted iCloud Photo library which was counting down from 30 days for deletion. I then had to wait for everything to re-sync to my Mac. Then I moved everything to the trash, and then permanently deleted them from the "Recently Deleted" folder.

2014年3月22日 · The deleted files no longer show in iCloud be that using a MacBook Pro or any of my iOS devices. They were deleted but still the storage has not been given back. Also, as to the 30 days held in the deleted folder ~ they do not show in the deleted folder which means I couldn’t put them back even if I wanted.

2020年6月13日 · Remember that when files are deleted the OS just removes the file location from the file index (analogous to whiting out an address on an envelope but keeping the contents of the envelope intact—the info is still there)—that’s why many recently deleted files are recoverable.
DELETED photos are still not deleted & still remains on iCloud!

I went on iCloud.com and deleted all my photos and videos and emptied the "recently deleted folder" as well. 2. iCloud Photos reported 0 photos and 0 videos. 3. iCloud Photos storage occupied approx 1GB of data... 4. On my windows laptop I installed, iCloud for Windows and asked it to download all my iCloud Photos media. 5. Voila!
