If you want a bunch of other voices and options for things like rhythm tracks, you may want to look at the Yamaha DGX-670. Instruments like the Roland FP-30X and Casio Privia PX-S1100 or S3100 are also options to consider.
What is the best digital piano/keyboard I should buy (budget 1k)
It's got 88 weighted keys, good piano sounds but is also an arranger keyboard. Having an advanced instrumental accompaniment might help you further your keyboard skills. Think of it as an advanced metronome or being able to play solo with a virtual band. Note - This is not your father's arranger keyboard like the Casio keyboards of old.
Recommended affordable digital pianos/keyboards for beginners?
The current one I'm using looks like a discontinued model probably, can't find it online anywhere. And you probably shouldn't buy it. but it works pretty well for classical, minus the terrible dynamic range. It has lasted ever since I started piano 7 years ago. Try looking at this brand, although they have inconsistent speaker quality.
Does an actual piano have any advantages over a keyboard?
A digital piano or keyboard just recreates sampled sounds from a piano, while an acoustic piano actually creates. On a proper acoustic piano you can do so much nuances, pedalling is an entire world for itself and the way you can differentiate the sound by putting down weight on the keys slightly different is just not replicable.

2022年5月3日 · Just to add to what the other commentator said about suggesting a MIDI keyboard - the big advantage with that is you can get a MIDI keyboard with great action for a lot cheaper than a stage piano with similar action. I use a MIDI keyboard for exactly what you mentioned - practicing at home and for live streams online.
Anyone know of a good under-desk MIDI keyboard pull out tray?
2021年5月8日 · I installed this exact one under my desk last weekend. 14" was a bit too short, I have 11" keyboard and it sticks out about 2" when closed with a keylab61 (about 11" depth device) Also note I bought 3" metal foot furniture riser to put under desk as well because adding sliding key tray reduced height for my knees.
