In 1995, Paramount Television was split into Paramount Network Television and Paramount Domestic Television. Network shows from then on (which were under PNTV) have the logo shown closer to the screen, while syndicated programs (from PDTV) have the logo shown further away.

Starting in 1987, Paramount Television began using its generic Paramount logo. On March 4, 2013, Viacom president announced that Paramount opted to produce a television series based on one of their films. Hours later, Paramount chairman announced that the studio was co-producing a CBS TV series with Sony Pictures Television.

Other shows internationally distributed by PWTLD just use the main 2016 Paramount Television or 2020 Paramount Television Studios logos. The colors on the logo are slightly darker on The Haunting of Hill House, Maniac, the final season of 13 Reasons Why, and some episodes of season 2 of Home Before Dark.
