When will Apple drop macOS support for M1 systems?
2023年3月12日 · There's not a lot of publicly known SoC sub-components in M2 that aren't also in M1. If Apple decides, for instance to make having ProRes Encode/Decode engines a requirement for the operating system due to a fundamental feature, then you might see M1 Macs dropped, while M1 Pro, M1 Max, M1 Ultra, M2, M2 Pro, M2 Max, and newer keep support.

2024年10月30日 · MBP 14 Pro M1 Pro - in all honesty that is too much power already for what i do. I do fairly quite more than average user, but hover around 12GB on win and mac laptops. TLDR: I would rather spend these money to see my family or take them on vacation or buy mtb bikes for our outdoor weekends.

2024年1月7日 · My M1 MacBook Air was on Monterey and I wouldn't use Ventura because of all the bad reports I'd seen. Sonoma seems much better and will be the best for a while. At this point, it seemed that Ventura was terribly broken, while Sonoma is merely buggy.

This good old laptop is running macOS Sonoma 14.4.1 which is the most recent version of macOS available to the public. During testing, the flickering occurs anytime comments on YouTube are shown or when watching YouTube Shorts.

2011年5月3日 · I can confirm that my Macbook Pro M1 outputs 4K/60Hz with the Apple AV adapter. The details in 'System Information' look identical to direct output with a USB-C to Displayport cable. However, some devices (eg. my Pixelbook Go) only output 4K/60Hz via Displayport, so this cable remains my preference (using a Caldigit Soho).

2021年12月26日 · I’ve been trying to use an M1 Pro Macbook Pro 16” with an HP Omen 27” monitor through a DisplayPort 1.4 to USB C cable. The monitor defaults to a refresh rate of 165 Hz. Whenever I plug it in and the setup is at this refresh rate I see vertical pink and green bars on the image. Sharing a few images below.
