2018年11月23日 · What I do is put the 2ml of lactulose into her food bowl (on it's own), then from the wet food take some of the gravy (or jelly, whatever it is in), and mix that with the lactulose. The lactulose is supposed to be quite tasteless, but its sweetness can be unattractive to some cats, and mixing some jelly / gravy with it seems to disguise it enough.

2018年9月17日 · Only wants to push Lactulose and Digestive Health Royal Canin RX food. Needless to say I'm discouraged, upset and DON'T agree. My baby got jump started PM Aug 17th with Lactulose 2ccs, and had it for another 4 days - 18 cc total before switching to 1/8 Miralax 2x daily. Tonight at 8pm will make day 3 of Miralax.

He yet again got flushed out, fluids, etc. But this time they sent him home with Lactulose. I read that lactulose should be OK for cats that have had diabetes problems.

2009年12月28日 · Lactulose didn't affect my cats bg, but in time I found it was less effective so I switched to Miralax (generic Walgreens brand is fine). Miralax proved much better...I started off 1/8 tsp twice daily, and worked as high as 1/2 tsp twice a day.

2019年3月23日 · My vet prescribed both Miralax and Lactulose, with varying dosage depending on the outcome of BM. I was advised that Lactulose is stronger and works faster than Miralax, but I'm witnessing what I believe is gas and bloating with the Lactulose, so I'm backing off the dosage (at this point, 1 mil 2x/day) to only 1 mil 1x/day and increasing the Miralax (1/2 tsp, 2-3x/day).

2009年12月28日 · I have often used Miralax for our cats, specifically prescribed for those with kidney disease. ALL of the kidney cats were getting SubQ fluids while on it. You want to be careful about using it if you aren't giving SubQs because of the way it works, it can cause dehydration and make the kidneys work harder.

If your cats HCT or PCV is less than 20%, he will need an erythropoetin stimulating agent like Aranasp. Are you giving fluids at home?
