Peru 2022 (Lima, Huacachina, Cusco) Amazing 17-day trip in
Huacachina is nice for one full day I'd say. We did the sandbuggy tour, wine tour, and a visit to La Casa de las Tejas all in a day. It's super small, so there's not much to do otherwise.

The place to see and be seen is the Oásis de la Laguna Huacachina, a few kilometers southwest of Ica itself. This small village oasis offers buggy rides and sandboarding by day, and a party atmosphere by night.

The lake was created by natural seepage from the underground aquifers, but the increase in well-drilling started to threaten that supply in the early 2000s. [8] [9] To compensate for this loss, and preserve the oasis as an destination for tourists, local business groups began pumping water into the lake in 2015. [10]

2016年5月20日 · Huacachina is super fun, but thats about it, you can definitely miss it. Yeah it was a 16 hour overnight bus ride from Cusco. You save on a hotel (and our bus served dinner and breakfast), but honestly maybe not worth it depending on what you are looking for.

2024年2月24日 · The only places that will need transportation to get there are the Paracas National Reserve and Huacachina/Ica. But usually the touristic agencies there cover that part if you book the tours with them. But, I agree with you. Booking a day tour allows you to turn off your brain and focus more on enjoying the day and activities.

2016年3月30日 · Huacachina is a tiny oasis, once you arrive by taxi you can walk around the oasis in like 10 minutes. You can easily rent sandboards on-site. Expect the cheap sandboards to be like $1 USD an hour, while the professional boards with boots will probably be around $10 USD for two or three hours.
