Eviolite boosts defenses by 1.5 if it is not fully evolved. On a pokemon like chansey, porygon, duskclops and to a extent scyther it makes it way better than it's evolutions. People will put it on chansey particularly because defenses rise so much that with a EV trained chansey even if it is being hit with physical moves it will be hard to kill ...

2023年8月10日 · Eviolite is a good item but it's not amazing by any means. The last time an Eviolite mon was good in OU was Chansey in gen 7, and as soon as people discovered HDB Blissey, Chansey fell off hard. Even in this gen's UU, Eviolite Bisharp is niche at best and ill-advised at worst, and there's no other Eviolite usage in OU or Ubers either.

2014年1月16日 · With eviolite equipped it simultaneously has superior physical bulk to sheild form Aegislash, and if you fully invest SDef it has the equivalent of fully invested base 98 SDef, though it does lack leftovers recovery and loses 1/3 of its bulk if it gets knocked off.

So Duraludon's 115 def and 50 sp.def shoot up to 172(or 173 don't know if they round up or down with decimals) def and 75 sp.def which are higher than Archaludon's def and sp.def, but not hp. Honestly Eviolite is just a stupidly broken item.

2022年12月21日 · Eviolite makes it even beefier, and not being part Ghost type means it gains extra defensive prowess, as it's not weak to Ghost and resists Dark. Well worth the tradeoff of losing STAB on Rage Fist, especially since you can just Tera Ghost to get that STAB later, once it's fist gets angry enough.
