Nov 24, 2013 · I wanted leaded line, the local recommended hot spot is at 150' depth, so the supply guy recommended this 5/16" leaded line. They had a 600' reel, so got that. I cut off two shots of 200' each, and then two extender shots of 50' each, in case I need to go a but deeper. Only two things I'm a bit worried about: 1) this stuff is heavy!

12 Ga VS 20 Ga for upland hunting - IFish Fishing Forum
Dec 21, 2010 · The last thing I care about is recoil, so other than that, am I losing anything going with the 20 over the 12? This is strictly for upland hunting, chukars mostly. I want a really light gun, and the 20 gauge is a little lighter than the 12, which is a big plus. I have a 12 ga for ducks, so this will be a dedicated chukar/upland gun.

The other issue was because of the speed of the hull and the area of the water column it rides in we were tearing off the lower unit cowlings on a regular basis.
