2013年1月22日 · I took a look at the Aver units. Interesting. The nano is a hybrid DVR but the mini is an NVR and compares well to the Dahua DH-NVR3204. But the Dahua has a built in switch and the mini requires an external switch. The Aver unit would end up costing $200 more, after buying a switch. But thanks for the tip. It was worth a look.

2016年1月18日 · The camera indeed has it's own clock. The NVR and camera were 3 time zones apart. The 3 hour difference apparently causes problems in the time stamp of recorded video. And the conflicting clocks caused the displayed time (on the NVR monitor) to jump forward and backward. All clocks are now set to Pacific Time, and problem with playback is resolved.

The camera firmware dates were all over the board, so I've updated them to a recent NTSC version that I found: 2.210.0001.0.R, build : 2013-05-17.
