The Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN®) credential is the recognized path for medical-surgical nurses to demonstrate their commitment, confidence, and credibility. MSNCB has launched the Certified Acute-care Virtual Registered Nurse (CAVRN) credential to provide a path for virtual nurses in acute care settings to do the same.

International nurses also eligible. Hours of practice. You must have worked 1,000 practice hours in a medical-surgical setting in the last 5 years.
