2011年2月22日 · Cessna designed it to replace the Skyhawk, but it's an entirely different plane than the 172. With the wing moved aft 14" and the stabilator, it flies and feels very different. In an effort to appease Cessna dealers who couldn't fly the Cardinal, Cessna changed (ruined) the Cardinal over time. Eventually, it was dropped. Too bad.

2014年2月11日 · There's a Cessna / Cub mishmash under construction which proves the point. Obviously my memory is hazy on how they are doing it, but there is a way. Edit - right, it wasn't a 51% thing, it was for another category like R&D. Local authorities seemed very happy with it. No idea what the plan was once the CoA terminates after the elapsed time.

2008年3月3日 · Tim, for some reason the FAA site has two links for Cessnas. One says Cessna Aircraft Company and the other says THE Cessna Aircraft Company. You need to look at both because there are some STC's that only show up on one or the other. If I was set on doing a conversion, I would look at the Stoots Site.

One is a USA-made EAB kit, and the other an Italian certified plane complete with Lyco IO-360 and CS prop. The Skydesigns Sky-4 Cloud Trekker is a four place all metal kit being developed by ex- Vans employee Ken Kruger.

Cessna 170, 172, 175, 180, 1956-1961 182, 185, and I believe the 1960-1961 210 all have 40 inch wide cabins. The 1962 and later 182 (Omni-vision) and 210, as well all 205s, 206s, and 207s were 44inch wide cabins.

2014年10月10日 · I think if Cessna had put a say IO470 with 260hp in the airplane, it really would have been bad ass, but really im not overly impressed with its performance. It lands much differently than a Cessna with strut braced wings, as well as a Cessna that doesnt have a stabilator. My honest opinions of the plane.
