SCAN YOUR BOTTLE DROP CARD to open the door- this activates a camera, and creates a computer log that YOU scanned your card and dropped a bag off (as said camera can also confirm). This way you can say "Hey, I dropped off X amount of bags X date", and it can easily be verified by management.

You can use your BottleDrop card to check your balance at any BottleDrop Redemption Center or BottleDrop retailer kiosk. Additionally, you can get your balance by signing in to your online account, logging in to the BottleDrop app, or calling our automated balance line (503) 542-5252 and selecting option 2.

So 50 bucks taken out of your bottle drop account gives you a credit for 60 bucks for the cashier to scan. Or you can just get the cash out at the actual bottle drop location.

Feb 5, 2020 · Once you have your card, label and bags, you can drop off until 10PM. If you drop off at a box that's at a Fred Meyer or a Safeway, expect to take about a week to get money. If you drop off at the depot I mentioned earlier, you usually get credited the same day or the day after.
