2023年6月6日 · Basic is best. NY pizza doesn't have a heavily spiced sauce. Often times the only spice in the sauce is the basil that the tomatoes were packed with. IMO once you start adding a bunch of stuff or even worse, cooking the sauce, you're just not making NY pizza anymore.
