2022年12月24日 · some of the criticism about BOTW's soundtrack is the reason most AAA games dont experiment and try new concepts/ideas with their franchises lol, i understand that is not for everyone and is a bit disorienting coming from a franchise with so much iconic and brilliant music. but BOTW music is great, and it was a neccesary evolution for the franchise.

Tears of the Kingdom: i don't actually remember most of the new music, simply because I feel like most of the time the game plays music from BotW.

2020年10月20日 · While I missed the more ear-wormy songs I could hum along to from the previous games, BotW's soundtrack is so beautiful that I never got sick of listening to it with 200 hours of gameplay, which is crazy. Each level in the game has a main background music, but will transition when in a cave, underwater, etc.. Also, the hub music will shift into the thematic style of a level if you are near that level's entrance.

2019年6月21日 · Tbf, there are other aspects that are different from BOTW, such as the faster-paced and actual magic combat (as you might've expected from the devs), the multi-characters mechanic, and the more focus on quests, cutscenes & narratives. But overall, this is such a shameless copy of BOTW even at first glance.

I wouldn't put it that low but the re-use of BOTW music and forgettable (often repeating) cutscene tracks definitely drag it down. Major towns using the exact same track from a previous game is very disappointing.
