What kind of power supply can I get for Asus Prime Z490-P
2021年1月7日 · I have an Asus Prime Z490-P motherboard, and I don't know what kind of power supply to get. I will also have 32gb of Corsair DDR4 3600 RAM and an intel i5-10400 CPU. There are also 6 pre-installed fans in the case. I'm not sure what kind of power supply I need in terms of wattage or pins. Could anyone help direct me to the specs of what I need?

Today I've been doing a little research and some sources says that ASUS PRIME Z490-P works with Intel Core i7 11700K 3.6 GHz,16MB gen 11 and some says it doesn't.

2021年1月5日 · the z490-p is 10+1 where the m-plus is 8+1 power stage and 4600 mhz vs 4400 mhz everything else is pretty much the same. not sure about the M-plus, but it does fit on the prime z490-p. (this is the board I'm currently using for my oc'd 10600k)

2021年2月5日 · Same issue, I updated and Z490-P Version 1.1.4.0 fails it install. Tried doing a full removal, and reinstall with the same results (initial install shows Z40-P as requiring update. Aura Creator gives similar error).

When I put it into pcpartpicker it mentions something about needing a bios update prior to using rocket lake cpus so I'm just wondering if this motherboard will work. If it doesn't work what are some good budget ish motherboards for the i5 11600k? If it does work is this board any good?
