17 was the strongest Android, stronger than Cell even. Cell knew it, Vegeta knew it, we all knew it. But 17 needed motivation. Cell hunting him down wasn’t motivating for 17. 17 and 18 desired nothing more than freedom. Cell was the purest manifestation of Gero’s mad control. Take Cell out of the equation, 17 and 18 are much more free.

2022年5月14日 · I read somewhere 4 years ago that in the future timeline, Dr. Gero programmed Android 17 and Android 18 to hate humanity for world domination purposes. He did not give them that programming in the present timeline. This probably was one of the several time distortions caused by Future Trunks and/or Cell's use of the time machine.

What this means is that when you’re throwing ki blasts if you see your opponent superdash you can input rekka and if you’re quick enough the first hit will stuff the superdash giving you a free combo.

We have no clue how much stronger SSB is than SS3 but 17 getting hundreds of times stronger after 15 years isn't inconsistent at all with how Dragon Ball works. Remember his Android saga power level is him without one second of training. Being able to punk out a Super Saiyan is 17's equivalent to Goku before training with Master Roshi.

But by the time the Z Fighters were ready to destroy the Androids they were busy fighting Cell who eventually absorbed the Androids.
