Ken Bradshaw (born October 4, 1952) is an American professional surfer and winner of the 1982 Duke Kahanamoku Invitational Surfing Championship. Bradshaw was born in Houston, Texas. On January 28, 1998, Bradshaw successfully towed into and rode a wave with a face allegedly of about 80 feet (24 m). [1]

Ken mastered big wave surfing on Oahu's North Shore, not only Sunset, but also Waimea. Through the late 1970's and early 1980's, he gained nicknames like Ken Kong, The Shaw of Sunset, and Planet Crusher.

2017年4月27日 · Bradshaw was a respected presence in some of the heaviest lineups on Oahu’s North Shore throughout the late 1970s and 1980s. His fame, however, reached another level in 1998, during the height of the tow-in craze, when Bradshaw allegedly surfed the biggest wave ever during the infamous Condition Black swell that winter.

But none of this compared to January 28, when Ken Bradshaw and Dan Moore teamed up with about eight surfers for an assault on a North Shore reef called Outer Log Cabins. This was a historic day, as one of the biggest winter swells in 30 years produced giant, perfect 35-foot surf.
