I'm just learning to stipple myself but I'm happy to offer up my opinion You probably could take the foot off all together, the problem you'll have is just keeping your fabric put and together while you're quilting, & I worry about pulling the fabric at the wrong time and breaking needles or tearing fabric.

It took about 10 minutes or so to stipple the center block of my polka-dot block swap quilt. By the time I was done, my hands were cramping and my shoulders were sore.

Pros and Cons of Longarm Quilting Machines with Frames
2015年8月15日 · So a few weeks back I got myself a Janome 1600p and Bernina (grace) frame, it just looks gorgeous, still practicing, still a bit jerky. I bought the pounce powder and a fullline stencil in a stipple and tried that out today, disaster, the powder won't stay on, any ideas on that.
