May 21, 2020 · The new Raise Hand feature is not showing on control bar in MS Teams meetings. Does it need to be enabled by system Admin? Are there instructions available?

The Hand Raise icon also appears on the participant’s display. Tip : You or the moderator can lower your hand. If the moderator lowers your hand, you receive a notification.

Mar 23, 2023 · The raise hand is not related to the reactions unfortunatelly. If i disable from meeting options the reactions the "raise hand" is still available. In the admin center there is nothing. For this reason this is a bug or something not implemented. Best regards, Roberto

Oct 30, 2020 · I work for a university and we rolled out Teams, the raise hand feature seemed to work well during induction week, but we are getting more reports of the raise hand feature not working people are clicking and the hands are not raising. They are predominantly using the client with the new experience enabled.

Oct 7, 2022 · I tried to edit this in the meeting options for a public streamed meeting and disable reactions but the public/non-presenters were still able to raise their hands even though reactions were disabled.

May 29, 2020 · A. Regarding your issue, suggest you open Teams Web app in either Google Chrome or Edge browser with In-private browsing mode and check if the Raise Hand option is appear or not. If the same issue occurs on Teams Web app side, kindly provide us screenshot about your issue.
