2024年10月12日 · So, I started my first heavily planted tank a little over a year ago. I learned a lot in the process, and I think I've been relatively successful so far. The tank is an Eden 40 with an AI freshwater blade light, Fluval 307 filter, and running CO2 with UNS Controlsoil substrate.

2020年3月17日 · Below are my settings for 2 x 36" Fluval planted 3.0's on a 36" wide 56 gallon aquarium. Lighting stays low for quite awhile to avoid algae and peak is only one hour. Pure white and warm white are lower because it tend to look too yellowish to my eyes. Night light (1 % blue only) is on for one hour then, lights are off completely.

2024年7月29日 · I feel like a lot of people want a planted tank but don't want to do any or very little work. Water changes, cleaning, dosing, water testing etc. Keeping tanks is a slow moving hobby, but you still need to keep an eye on things if you want good results. Sounds like you've learned a bunch with your first tank. Hopefully it helps with your next tank!

2012年1月21日 · I usually feed my fish 2 types of food at once. The more aggressive eaters go for the frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms as they sink, while the pencilfish and gourami feed on the daphnia or freeze dried crumbles floating on the surface.

Fast forward and Ive now started the journey of setting up a new 120P (48x20x20). My 90P turned more into a nature style but with this Im hoping to keep it more of a manicured aquascape.
