Unfortunately Apple does not provide support for such a replacement and i needed to take my ipad to a non-authorised lab which usually make this kind stuff. Unfortunately now the screen has problems (see the shaded wobbles around the edges of the screen in the picture).

The battery replacement service is a good deal if you don’t want to buy a new(er) device. That iPad Air is seldom used so I’m not concerned with the battery, I just plug it in when necessary.

2021年3月29日 · Apple is not going to replace the battery on an original iPad Air for free. I would consider your upgrade path. I'd probably look toward the current iPad Air, assuming you're not looking for something either much smaller (iPad mini) or bigger (12.9" iPad Pro). It's still relatively new (emphasis on "relatively").

2018年6月24日 · Just for info sake.... Apple does not replace the battery in an iPad Air 2, instead they give you another (refurbished) unit. Apple charges $99.00 for the service. Since Best Buy is an authorized Apple Service Repair Provider, they should offer the same service and price. Make sure by giving Apple a call.

2002年8月18日 · Title says it all...need battery replacement (raw: 73%, adjusted 70%) on a iPad Pro 9.7 WiFi/cellular now classified as vintage. Calling the local Apple authorized store says no to qualifying for a replacement from Apple so who do we like for a 3rd party service to replace the battery? Thanks!
