Buffeting is not even remotely a joy, in fact it is highly irritating, fatiguing, and can literally blur your vision all of which is very distracting and has the potential to increase the likelyhood of a crash.

Have read post on Klock Werks, some people say they work others don't. Some people say Clearview is better than Klock Werks, other people say to put side shields/fairings, etc.etc.

2024年9月25日 · Ride your bike, when you start to get the buffeting, hold your left arm horizontal across your chest. If this stops or greatly reduces the buffeting, you are getting lots of wind from under the fairing. The fork fangs will go a long ways to reduce this. I get buffeting on my Street Glides and have the fugly fangs on, which eliminates the buffeting.

2013年9月6日 · Wind buffeting I stopped all buffeting by adding fork mounted wind deflectors and a clearview curved top windshield. I did this on my 2013 Switch Back and on my new 2014 Road King. (Parts fit on both bikes) Also I followed clearviews directions on how to pick the right height windshield and it stopped all my buffeting on both bikes.

After close to 200 miles over the past few days, I've gotten used to the buffeting, and it doesn't bother me nearly as much as it did. So if I can't solve the buffeting, then it's not that big of a deal.
