I would assume that the "normal" RedLine stuff would have an elevated level of ZDDP in the ranges you're looking for. Royal Purple (HPS or the older stock SL versions) would also do the trick. They won't have corrosive amounts of ZDDP.

2016年1月9日 · After break-in high levels of ZDDP resulting in over 900 ppm of zinc and phos don't give you any added wear protection. The later versions of ZDDP that are included in current additive packages have lower volatility which is why we can lower ZDDP levels and still maintain wear protection. ZDDP isn't the Messiah when it comes to wear protection.

2018年8月30日 · In primary ZDDP the attaching carbon has only one carbon neighbor (carbon bond). In secondary ZDDP the attaching carbon has two carbon neighbors (carbon bonds). Its interesting that primary ZDDP results in less friction but more wear while secondary ZDDP results in less wear but more friction. Figure 19 explains how.

2012年5月16日 · ZDDP additives can be fine, but when you add the price of a PCMO conventional (or HM in your case) and the additive, it likely will be way above what a sump load of 10w-30 HDEO would cost. Mobil Delvac 1300 10w-30 or Rotella 10w-30 would have sufficient ZDDP for most purposes.

2007年1月25日 · These engines were designed and in production before the use of ZDDP in engine oil. So they are fine to use on modern oil. Even many flat tappet auto engines are just fine, depends on the design. ZDDP is really only needed in some of the poorly designed auto engines from the 60's through 80's. My questions are thus:

2002年11月16日 · ZDDP is not just going to jump out of solution and find the nearest presious metal to bound to. Remember to idealy bond it needs pressure and heat or just presure. Heat alone is a poor way to get ZDDP to stick to a precious metal.
