I personally think it is a bunch of money for something you can build yourself for less, I mean for 12000$ or even half of that I would expect something other than an MDF bed, go spend the 400$ and get the Misumi bed. I also feel at that price point they are going to lose most hobbyists.

Be prepared to switch controllers and/or pay for easel pro… unless you use OpenBuilds’ gcode sending software. Hit me up with any other questions. $3k is a no brainer for this machine IMO, even in stock form.

2020年10月6日 · Hey all, Just saw they announced the xcarve pro 4x4 and 4x2. I dont own a CNC yet, but have operated shopbots in the past. Looks pretty snazzy with the included spindle. At 6K it seems ok-ish for a 4x4 machine considering ball screws and spindle included. Though at full price its so much money.

Inventables X-Carve Pro has an all inclusive system and they have a 4x2 option which suits my workspace better. They are also US built and based, but they are the highest cost. Speaking with them was great and they were very helpful. Shapeoko 5 - has the 4x4 option and free shipping. They seem to be the lowest price.

Extra pieces of bits and wood to get me started. $6000 Avid Pro 4 x 2, basically brand new assembled but not used. Come with a basic PC and software installed. Just a general Vacuum, I will need to buy the $300 Vacuum shoe.
