Messages. 1,298. Jan 28, 2024. #6. I run two 2x12 cabs set next to each other in my stereo W/D/W rig. The innermost pair of speakers are used for the mono dry signal. They are a WGS Reaper HP and a Retro 30 and yield a really articulate yet ballsy combination. The outside pair cover the stereo left and right wet signals and are both V30s.
Are modern Marshalls really that bad? (Build quality)
2019年8月20日 · The newer marshalls are fine. No they're not mesa build quality. but they have their tone, and they're good amps. As well built as mesa are, I never found one that made me pull the wallet out and buy it. The transformers are fine. The PCB are fine. They do use a lot of ribbon cable stuff like a lot of builders do.
