Don't know if was a domestic gone wild or there was some mix breeding going on between wild and domestic turkeys. My uncle had some turkeys that left with some wild turkeys once.

Way back when I had geese, my turkeys and geese free ranged in the same 2 acre area without any issues. The key is that the turkeys need lots of room and the large area was not a detriment to the geese either.

I do see the Toms fighting of course and I know just because I haven't seem them attempting to mate doesn't mean that they are not. I guess I just assumed that ether they were not old enough or it just was not the season yet.
