It has a much wider sweep than most wahs, which lets you sweep from the sub-bass all the way up to the top of the frequency spectrum (and even that is adjustable).

If compressor is before wah, your wah's bandpassed frequencies will unintentionally distort. Wah then comp. cleanest signal possible into that guy there. The best place for a compressor is on the shelf.

This is awesome and very limiting when it comes to that more traditional wah sound, like Tales of Brave Ulysses. Pedal wah (Crybaby) was my first pedal.
