Windows 11 won’t work with my WD External Hard Drive
2023年1月9日 · My Amazon Basics 3TB external drive works fine on both Windows 10 and Windows 11. Probably not quite as old as the WD unit but, as I recall, less expensive. My backup going forward is a two-drive docking station. It took around 5 minutes to see the hard drive I put in it. Once found it seems to work without delay.

2017年4月6日 · Greg, that's the issue. when I open Disk management the WD Passport USB drive doesn't show so I cant assign a drive. when I open device manager the Passport shows in other devices. when I open Settings - Devices - Connected Devices it shows "My Passport Ultra" but says driver is unavailable.
