2016年5月14日 · The SparkFun USB Host Shield contains all of the digital logic and analog circuitry necessary to implement a full-speed USB peripheral/host controller with your Arduino. Does the Arduino not already contain this, just needing the proper software (although obviously it's easier to use the already written library for the Host Shield).

There is some example code for that one which makes it nice and easy to work with. There is also some example code for a generic USB HID Joystick. My goal is to be able to use any joystick I want with the shield.

This is on digital pins 10, 11, 12, and 13 on the Uno and pins 10, 50, 51, and 52 on the Mega. On both boards, pin 10 is used to select the MAX3421E. Pins 7, 8 and 9 are used for GPX, INT and RES pins.

2022年6月22日 · 1 Answer. That shield communicates over SPI. However the SPI pins it uses are the "old" style (10-13) for the Arduino UNO. The Mega doesn't use those pins, which is why the "new" style 6-pin SPI/ICSP header was added to boards. You will have to manually jumper the right pins to the SPI pins of the Mega using wires.
