2015年12月8日 · Hi all, my dad recently got a new car and didn't think to check the spec for a cd player. Is it possible to buy an external CD reader (quite cheap online designed for laptops) and plug into the USB port in the car for the sound to run through the cars speakers? Thanks!

2017年5月7日 · The problem you may have is that a portable CD player may not have sufficient buffering to compensate for the motion of the car. Early car CD players were pretty bad that way. Skipped all the time. I would suggest that you rip your CDs to mp3 files and use a USB stick to access them. Lots more convenient although the sound won't be as good.

If your dvd player uses some other proprietary connector, then you have just either revoked your warranty, or broke your dvd player. This would render your effort pretty useless.

2017年1月28日 · TV won't go to an input without an active video input. If you have an external video source (cable box etc) with an unused active video output (yellow composite video via 1 RCA cable) then connect that to the same input that the CD player audio is connected to.
