2009年12月22日 · You can get a decent torch set for little above 200$, makes sense when the clone off brands are in the 130 range. Size of the bottles is crucial, personally a 125/140 setup. For light work a small tip is worth the investment.

I have attached a photo of the torch set up I have. I am not sure what model Weldcraft it is because it does not say. But you can see the piece of brass that the stinger connects to. Did your torch come with this or did it come with a dinse connection and seperate hose with the 5/8" reverse thread to connect to the machine?

Screw regulator into tank, put propane tip into torch. Cut away. Look back a few pages there was a longer thread about this. Personally I prefer Acet. over propane, but it depends what you use it for and your personal preferences. Ben

I am not sure if you would notice a flow restriction with a #3 tip or not, but you may have to set your pressures higher than what you would without the Flashback arrestors. They are definitely very restrictive. For normal cutting though, you should be able to compensate.

2006年2月16日 · keep in mind the tank size and tip size will have an afect on your settings as well, i have a small set of tanks. acet is a size B and the oxy is a 60quft. with a small cutting tip so i cut with act5 and oxy at 15-20 the size of your acet. tank will dictate the speed at witch you can get the acet. to evap out without risking damage to the gages. with the thin stuff you are …

At work and school, we just set acet to 10 and oxy at 40. Just use the torch valves to adjust it for what you need. As far as welding 1/16" stuff, we had it set like Kerry said. But now, we only use to cut, no more welding (too old school)

I was practicing on 1/8" steel, ground clean no mill scale, good ground, dcen, arc won't start with hf. Water cooled torch with foot pedal. Cleaned and adjusted points .008" still no hf start.
