Sep 19, 2005 · There are also frequency-split combiners that allow a UHF and a VHF antenna to be combined without "mutual interference" (and even those can be turned around and used in the other direction, say if you wanted to connect an all-channel antenna to separate VHF and UHF inputs such as found on an old TV set from the 70's).

May 6, 2021 · I am in a low lying area with a lot of trees and this antenna gave me the highest gain for the best picture. For the DC channels I'm using an Antennas Direct Clearstream 2Max UHF/VHF antenna. The DC broadcast towers are about 30-35 miles from my location. Both antennas are connected using a ChannelMaster CM-0500 JOINtenna TV antenna combiner.

Jul 16, 2015 · As mentioned above, you'd just want to make sure to use a "satellite" diplexer, which slices the signal between "TV" frequencies (up to 900MHz) and "satellite" frequencies (900+MHz), and not, as suggested in the HDTV Primer link, a "Join-tenna"-style diplexer that merely slices/splices within the OTA/cable TV frequencies.
Over the air...... does it help to use two antennas...
Jul 3, 2011 · Have 3 antenna on top on my computer room TV and they do seem to get better reception than just one antenna. I use a 3 to one combiner to add the antenna signals together. It does help that Tivo is a Series 3. It seems to have the best digital receiver compared to the digital converter boxes in the rest of the house.

Jun 6, 2008 · The backward splitter weakens the signal by about 3.5dB from each antenna. That reduces the received power to 44%. So, weak signals become weaker when using a splitter as a combiner.

The AvantX can do 4 antennas and you can take in a channel on it's normal frequency and output it on a different frequency.
TiVo EDGE for Antenna and TiVo Mini with TiVo Bridge...
Dec 12, 2024 · He has a TiVo EDGE for Antenna, manufactured in June 2020. Also has a TiVo Mini and a TiVo Bridge Plus. The EDGE is on the main TV on 2nd floor. The Mini is on a basement TV. Can I simply install the TiVo Bridge Plus right after the antenna coming in, connect it to the Ethernet cable that's nearby, thereby creating a MoCA network.

Sep 29, 2024 · Philadelphia TV Antenna Map - TV Transmitters for Philadelphia, PA 19147 Looks like you have 3 VHF Low transmitters in your market and they are in opposite directions. 2 are 8 miles and the other is 21 miles. you may get lucky pointing the antenna in one direction and possibly pick up the other on the back side.
