2012年7月12日 · Fished there all my life off and on...learned long ago to keep to the waterway. I surf fish some other beaches, but that whole area is very flat and shallow...have caught plenty of fish inshore, though. Lots of good spots, but less access than there used to be for shore anglers.

2007年9月14日 · You will need a saltwater license now in NC for surf or private boat fishing Many bait shops and Walmarts have them. You can get a short term (a week or so) salt license for something like $10. A full year combo salt and fresh is something like $30. Under 16 requires no license so your kids wont cost.

I agree with 1 bad f350, you get dressed and you go fishing . the tide is not always right ,the wind is not always right , the moon is not always right . with that reasoning you never go fishing . The fish do not understand all of the fishing rules that we make up . Just my $.02. ETF

A mile or so to the Pompano Pier every day in the early 70's was one thing. These days I measure distance in steps, not blocks! Many thanks, Joe

2024年6月22日 · Tide was low and coming up I noticed this beach has signs designating it a hazard area where there is no swimming surfing wading or boat launching but that's great for surf fishing since it keeps people out of the water. There was a lot of structures on this beach, pools cuts in the bar etc. it looked like a good surf fishing place but had no time.

2024年1月10日 · Honestly I don't like the idea of using a drone or RC boat surf fishing but maybe there should be an exception here kind of like crossbows for disabled folks for deer hunting. I hate it but I figure your out of luck because these folks can’t even set up flounder season. Common sense just may be too complicated for the state of NC. Von
